LIGHT UPON LIGHT
God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is that of a niche wherein there is a lamp. The lamp is inside a glass. The glass is like a brilliant star that is lit from a blessed olive tree that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil almost lights up even though no fire has touched it. Light upon light. God guides to His light whoever He wills. God thus cites the examples for the people. God is knowledgeable of all things.
WHAT I EXPECT AND WHAT GOD EXPECTS
God is One, Eternal, and Almighty. He created all the worlds for a clear purpose that all of His many prophets proclaim. To Him all will return. His Kingdom includes both good and evil so that we might freely choose which of these to worship. His Kingdom includes an afterlife, and what we do during our short life on Earth matters. .
God is Merciful, Compassionate, Protecting, Forbearing, Forgiving, Loves and Guides those who follow Him, and is the best of Judges. God owns everything, controls all matters , and nothing lasts but his Face.
From us God wants reverence, and good deeds which include prayer, charity, and morality.
A PRAYER
Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and
shower us with mercy. Of all the merciful ones, You are the Most Merciful.
Quran 23:109
